At Moncanyon, we’re looking for a rare gem to share our passion and our most beautiful spots in Basse-Terre! If you’re a rope pro, if cool water and sunshine don’t scare you, and you love human contact, this mission is for you!
Your Mission (should you accept it!):
You’ll be our Canyoning Guide, leading small groups (from beginners to the most athletic, max 8 people per group) to discover the canyons of Guadeloupe… In short, just another day at the office 😊!
• Safety first: Guide our clients safely and manage the equipment (setup, checks, first-level maintenance).
• Sharing and fun: Run the activity with good humor, share your knowledge of the local environment, and give every participant an unforgettable experience.
• Team spirit: Work hand in hand with the other guides in a friendly atmosphere.
What we expect from you:
• Mandatory qualification: You must hold a diploma allowing you to instruct canyoning in France (DEJEPS Canyonisme, or a recognized equivalent). A must!
• Experience: Significant experience guiding groups is a big plus.
• Availability period: You must be available without fail from December 15, 2025 to March 15, 2026.
• Personal qualities: A good teacher, patient, dynamic, reliable and, of course, passionate about nature and Wow-Splash moments. If you like rum, that’s definitely a big plus!!!!
What Moncanyon offers you:
• A great work environment! The Island of Beautiful Waters as your office, with stunning sites (hello, National Park!), close to diving spots, hiking trails, and more — basically, we live on a pretty awful little island 😉.
• Contract: Independent, freelance
• Pay: Per rotation, with the option to work between 3 & 6 days a week, as you like, but no less.
• Equipment: We provide all the equipment for clients, in good condition and well suited!!!! For your own personal instructing gear, since we know everyone has their own habits, you’re welcome to bring it in your suitcase.
• Atmosphere: A top-notch team, a “professional” yet relaxed environment.
