The association Les Enfants d’Abord and Pyrénées Canyon invite you to come discover canyoning as a family on Saturday, July 1st, during a relaxing day in the mountains. Just a few kilometers from Marquisat, in the Cirque de Troumouse, come descend the waterfalls, jump into the blue water, slide and play, during a 2 to 3 hour introductory session.
Who, what & how?
Who is it for?
The activity is open to all children over 9 years old who know how to swim, and who must be accompanied by an adult who will take part in the descent.
You won’t need any special equipment — Pyrénées Canyon will provide all the equipment suited and necessary for your practice. Just come with a bath towel, a swimsuit and a pair of shoes for the activity (sneakers or hiking shoes). Learn more about the equipment!
What’s it for?
The proposed route is suited to practice with young children, but older kids will also find thrills and excitement! It consists of several obstacles including rappel descents, slides, and jumps. This gorge’s features allow us to cross them in several ways, or to avoid them if needed. So there’s no risk of “not making it” or being too scared: in canyoning nothing is mandatory except having fun!
How?
Groups will be made up of 10 people (5 children & 5 adults), one professional guide and two co-instructors. Two groups will leave in the morning, around 10am, then two in the afternoon around 2pm.
As spaces are limited, the first 40 registrants will get a spot.
To sign up, simply book your day on our site: Book now!
A contribution of €20 per person will be requested.
The proceeds from this day, like all of the association’s actions, will allow our children to enjoy rich and varied school activities throughout their schooling at the RPI, and a privileged learning environment.
The President and members of Les Enfants d’Abord.
